Two questions about the rules:

1. Can we cast city enchantment spells on opponents cities?
2. How does this end when all the independents are dead are there is nothing left to kill?

Oh? Do you mean you do not WANT to use mods? Or you do KNOW how to use mod? Because that's the first mod I use in AoW3 too and I think it's worth a try.

sorry i didn't see that is a mod game I never use mods with aow3! in two we have a very good so i try to use it. But I'm not see how I will able to use a mod! So I must leave the game, hope you find soon an other player

REMINDER:
- you need to use the following mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sha... />- house rules: 1/ forbidden to take other's city, even after they're dead (you can retake yours if it was taken by independants). 2/ If you only have your city and most of your units are dead and you have no chance of survival: just raze your city and surrender.
- settings:
Medium Map with Surface and Underground on Continents
Normal Game flow speed

Start town: Outpost (so 8 outposts in total in the map)
Starting units: Medium
Starting distance: Far
Roads: Few
Roaming units: Many
Treasures: Few (I'm not sure what this does)
Cities: None
Dwellings: None
Ressource structures: Few
Visit structure: Few
Treasure structures: Few

Water Slider at 25% 
Undiggable walls and Diggable Wall Sliders down to 15-20 % 
All other sliders left untouched at standard 50 %





No teams (you can ally with others but only one winner)
Seal Victory: on @ 40 charges (I never played Seals so not sure if it's too little or too much)
Unifier Victory: off

Game speed: Normal
Starting Resource: Very Low
Starting Skills: Normal
All Heroes Have Resurgence: Never
Defenders Strength: Very Strong 
Cosmic Events: Hard
Maximum Number of Heroes: 2 (1 Leader + 2 heroes)

Great news. I am interested in how these changes will affect the gameplay. I am a little worried about air spec even though i like the changes.

Yes, exactly as Markymark said: when you launch AoW, look at the "User content" tab in the launcher and you can deactivate the mod for your other games.

No, you can select and deselect in your launcher Screen.

Only restarting Aow3....but i think this is not a Problem!

Installing Mod
If I install the mod, will it affect my other games?  I have a couple of other PBEM games in progress.

@Tussel (and others): the tool to write your class / race here should not be used until everyone has met everyone, that is to say, most of the time it's better to use it only when the game is over. If you write your class / race now, everyone will see it and can adapt to it in advance, which is bad for you. So I changed what you wrote to "unknown".

Also, I play only 3 games at the same time because of time constraint. Due to the tournament, I currently have 4 games ongoing. So I'd like to wait for at least one and better two of my games to stop before starting that one.
So I propose to start in about two weeks, sorry for the delay. (that also gives more time to the modders to improve the balance mod and the fixes for Necro)

The Hunger Games
Idea:
Making a very difficult map with almost no production and mainly fights. The map should be tough enough so that some of us will be killed by independents. The rest will fight to death.
I want to allow conversion (so max level = 7) but limit the strength of heroes. Obviously, we need the Necro issue to be fixed (we don't want everyone to have T4 Titans with them through Greater Reanimate Undead) before the game starts.

Proposed settings:

Okay so Hilliadan has convinced me to rejoin. I feared that with just one town we may not be able to fund more than a few units but I suppose that is the point. I also fear that all 8 players are just going to pick from 2-3 classes but we will just have to see. Maybe I will counter the class that I think we will see the most of : )
